ABS is niet giftig en geurloos en het uiterlijk is ivoorkleurig doorschijnend of transparant korrels of poeder. De dichtheid is 1.08~1.18g/cm3, de krimpsnelheid is 0.4 procent ~{{10}.9 procent, de elasticiteitsmodulus is 0.2Gpa , de Poisson-ratio is 0,394, de hygroscopiciteit is<1%, the melting temperature is 217~237℃, and the thermal decomposition temperature>250 graden.
